Congratulations to
Eche Ginikanwa and Ken Ring
on achieving your Black Belts on Thursday 27^th November 2008

Having now gained his 2^nd degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo with us, Eche is now the highest ranking student in The Academy that is actively training. Since joining us in April 2003, he has trained consistently with The Academy. His on-going determination is an example to all students that even when you have achieved your Black Belt, there is still progression to be made.

Since joining The Academy in September 2007, Ken has trained regularly in both beginners and advanced classes due to being on our Leadership Programme. He has taken several double gradings, and is now our quickest student to achieve 1^st degree Black Belt, that being accomplished in only 14 months.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Peter “The Klob” Klobikowski for his help in partnering both Eche & Ken in the semi-contact rounds of their sparring. Also thank you to Mike Handakas, Raymond “Rayzor” Ramsaran and Gloria “Short Scrapper” Yang for your help in officiating and assisting with this grading. And a final thank you to Gary “Chillman” Chillingworth for once again, being our producer, editor and director of recording this event.

To date, this now bring the total of black belts trained through Academy up to 38.
