Hi! Welcome to The Martin Ace We are a professionally run Martial Arts Academy, offering you the chance to become involved in one of the world’s fastest growing Martial Arts disciplines. The exciting and highly accessible Korean art of Tae Kwon Do is well placed to equip people of all ages and ability with the skills and attitudes to grow both mentally and physically. atmosphere provides a safe, fun place to learn new skills and make friends,
and our team of qualified instructors, led by 5th dan Master In our Adults’ classes we have a 24-month training programme to black belt standard. We can offer this because of our highly structured approach to teaching. To capitalise on this, you should be trying to attend 2 lessons each week and doing some regular home practice (we'll show you how). Our syllabus of training is both exciting & challenging, as is the manner in which the are classes are taught. Positive re-enforcement and encouragement is the best method of teaching, and because the Instructors have been on our own Instructors Course, you'll have fun learning and progressing up through the belts too. This course is run by The Chief Instructor, Master Ace, is actually a qualified Professional Trainer, having gained the Professional Trainers Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. Currently, we are offering FREE Introductory Lessons for both the Adults' & Children's classes. This gives you the opportunity to see what we teach, and probably more importantly, how we teach it. At the Introductory Lesson, we will answer any questions you may have. From that point, it is up to you. All of our Instructors at The Academy have excellent communication skills, and genuinely enjoy teaching and sharing their knowledge. There are no screaming Sergeant Major types, looking for an excuse to shout and bully you with another 50 press ups - just really friendly Instructors. They want you to be a black belt too!
